文章题目: The stability of group 10 metal POCOP pincer complexes: decomposition/reconstruction pathways of the pincer backbone 作者:Bula Cao, Yazhou Ding, Fei Fang, Jiarui Chang, Jie Zhang, * Shujun Li and Xuenian Chen The stability of the POCOP pincer backbone of 10 metal POCOP pincer complexes under different nucleophilic and electrophilic conditions was investigated. The POCOP pincer backbones are stable under intermolecular nucleophilic conditions but unstable under intramolecular nucleophilic conditions. The POCOP pincer backbones can survive weak electrophilic conditions but can be completely destroyed by strong Lewis acids such as AlCl3. Intramolecular nucleophilic attack on the pincer ligated metal centres or the phosphorus atoms is a possible pathway for the decomposition/reconstruction of the POCOP pincer ligand frameworks. It must be pointed out that the bulky isopropyl groups may disturb the intermolecular nucleophilic attack on the metal centres or the P atoms and are partly responsible for the stability of the pincer frameworks. The interaction of the O atoms with strong Lewis acids can lead to the complete decomposition of the pincer backbones.
